Landscape Design & Contractor Coordination

CREATING THE DESIGN-BUILD EXPERIENCE

As a landscape design studio (vs. a landscape design/build company) we are not landscape contractors and do not install designs. But we don’t just abandon you to find your own landscape contractor. We are invested in the successful installation of our work, so we’ve developed trusted relationships with the best landscape contractors in to give you a seamless, stress free design-build experience. The designer’s input during the installation phase is so crucial to the success of the project that we offer contractor coordination and onsite visits as a post-design service at a transparent hourly rate.

We’re with you every step of the way, ensuring you are taken care of throughout the process and once your landscape is installed it provides the outdoor haven you desired.

During the Design Phase

As a landscape design company (vs. landscape design-build), we do not install your design. However, we partner with the best landscape contractors in Portland and offer contractor coordination as a valuable service.

We believe the designer’s input during the installation phase is so crucial to your project’s success that we build it into our design proposals as an option at an hourly rate.

During the Estimating Phase

Hooray! The design is complete and it’s time to transition to the installation.

We match our clients with one of our landscape contractor partners who exemplify the same customer service and quality clients come to expect from us.

We meet our clients and the landscape contractors onsite to review the design and ensure both our client’s and the contractor’s questions are answered.

We review the estimate on behalf of our clients.

During the Build Phase

During  installation we visit during critical stages to ensure that any necessary changes comply with the design. Typically we meet with the contractor at least once during the hardscape phase and highly recommend we work with them during plant installation to ensure proper placement of the plants.

If the plants we’ve selected for you aren’t available at the time of installation, we work with the contractor to source appropriate replacements, ensuring the integrity of the design and the ultimate success of the plants.
